Our SVDP Thrift Store has a few major announcements for shoppers, volunteers, and supporters!
First of all, as we continue to maneuver our way through these unprecedented times with donations at the thrift store, we have decided to extend the no drop off donations through August 2, 2020. This is a difficult decision as we do not want to offend our donors however the safety of our employees and volunteers must come first.
Next, we appreciate your continued support and ask that you, your family, youth group, friends, or other parish members consider coming in to volunteer for just a couple hours each month. If we could get each conference to simply sign up for one two hour shift each month we could keep up with donations and get back to pre-COVID conditions in no time at all. We appreciate you coming in anytime but the ideal time for us would be anytime on Mondays between 7-3:30, or between 4p-6p Tuesday through Saturday. Please let me know if you would be interested in signing up for a shift.
Finally, as of July 15th, we are requiring guests to wear face masks upon entering the store. Let’s do our share to keep everyone safe!
