The Society of St. Vincent de Paul – Evansville District Council is partnering with WIKY 104 FM on the 4th annual Ton of Toys Program to provide toys and gifts to children in families of those experiencing financial difficulties.
How can you get involved?
- Bring a new, unwrapped toy during normal business hours to either the Lucas Oil Center on North Green River Road or West Lloyd Expressway, Super Mega Replay in the Towne Centre shopping area across from Eastland Mall, the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store, or any Evansville or Newburgh German American Bank lobby beginning Monday, November 22, 2021. The last day for donating is Thursday, December 9.
- Make a $20 donation (or amount of your choosing) to help us with Tons of Toys! You can complete the form below – safe & secure online giving. St. Vincent de Paul is recognized as a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
How does the process work for the family needing assistance?
Families need to be referred by a member of St. Vincent de Paul. Call (812)425-3485 to request participation in this program. Information on shopping days and hours, directions, and a copy of the completed voucher will be mailed, emailed, or texted to the participating family.
Who can participate?
Only children under the age of 18 may be registered for participation and must reside in Gibson, Posey, Vanderburgh, or Warrick counties. Families registered with any other Christmas toy giveaway program are ineligible. Requests must be submitted to St. Vincent de Paul by Friday, December 10.
Thank you to all who donated and supported our Ton of Toys program for 2021!
